If you’re looking for some summer PD, the website is full of offerings! From the ELA adoption workshops to Instructional Tech events, there’s something for everyone.
Highlights
- ELA Adoption – Grades K-6 have a new ELA curriculum. A two-part workshop series runs all summer so you can get up to speed with the new materials.
- Elementary 1:1 Workshops – If you’re one of the buildings going rolling your iPads out in the fall, you have a two-day workshop to attend with your colleagues to get ready.
- Standards-Based Grading – If you’re interested in learning more about a different grading method based on standards, Instructional Tech is leading a one-day work session on theory and practical application.
- EdTech in the Bend – We’re partnering with South Bend, Concord, and Mishawaka Schools to put on EdTech in the Bend on August 1st and 2nd. Elkhart teachers register for free! Registration info is here.
Online Learning
If you can’t make it this summer, don’t forget we have a fully-online PD course over Google, Canvas, Seesaw, and other tools we use in the district. You can sign up at any time on the PD website (change the switch to online on the left sidebar) and move through at your own pace.
Many of these learning opportunities are paid. If you have specific questions, you can click on the facilitator’s name in the session information to send an email.
